Easter at Disney

When people think about the holidays at Disney World, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas come to mind.

BUT.

Have you ever thought about visiting on OTHER holidays? It's great to see Disney's take on these special moments and give your kids an experience that is different than that same thing you do each year.

We tried out Disney at Easter and it was amazing for the kiddos! There are many activities that happen and gorgeous decor to check out. Below are some photos of the amazing eggs that were on display at the Grand Floridian lobby.

It is not even hard to get over there to see them! Have us plan a meal for you at one of the amazing restaurants there: 1900 Park Fare, Grand Floridian Cafe, Narcousse, or Citricos, and you can check it all out prior to eating.

Or enjoy your favorite after dinner beverage walking around the well appointed lobby as beautiful music plays in the background.

Disney is SO much more than what is happening in the parks!

NOTE: You can find another set of decorated eggs at the Contemporary Resort.

If you are concerned about missing church, they even have that taken care of for you. Here is an example of offerings from 2016:

Walt Disney World will be celebrating Easter with religious services on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Contemporary Resort in the Fantasia Ballroom.

The schedule for services will be:
Catholic Mass - 8 AM and 10:30 AM
Protestant Service- 9 AM
WDW strongly recommends to resort guests staying at a monorail resort to use the monorail or watercraft to the Contemporary. All other resort guests should use WDW resort transportation to MK and then transfer to a shuttle bus (available after 7:00 AM) which will take you to the Contemporary. The Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian parking lots will be operating with parking restrictions

If you are concerned about lugging Easter Baskets, there is a solution:

Easter Baskets are offered for sale at each of the Disney-owned Walt Disney World resorts. Each resort will have some pre-made baskets containing a variety of merchandise items. The retail for the pre-made baskets varies based on the items included (typically between $40-$65).
There will also be cast members available to make customized baskets based on guests' requests. The customized baskets usually start at $7 plus tax for an empty white basket, grass, bow, and shrink wrap. Anything added to the custom basket is extra-just purchase the items you would like to include at the store. There are even Easter themed magic bands you can have for your children.

If you think that Easter at Disney World sounds like it would work for your family, let a memory maker at Zip Travel know and you could be spending next Easter with your favorite mouse!

We would love to make it a reality for you with our FREE help!

Hop on over and we will jump right on it!

XOXO,
Your Memory Maker, Tara

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
If you’re looking for a yummy but healthy breakfast or lunch on Disney property, Capt. Cooks has the best avocado toast! It is covered with fresh avocado, egg, arugula, tomatoes, goat cheese, salt & pepper. Definitely a must try if you’re at the Polynesian Resort!
