Are you, your spouse, or traveling buddy a Disney veteran? Do you know everything there is to know about Walt Disney World? I recently had the opportunity to experience a tour that is perfect for you!   The Backstage Magic Tour operated by Adventures by Disney is the perfect Disney experience for those hardcore Disney lovers. This seven hour tour allows guests an up-close look at the backstage elements of their favorite Disney parks. Have you ever wondered how Ben Franklin climbs the stairs in The American Adventure? On this tour you can see exactly how Imagineers made that happen.   Next we were whisked off in our motor coach to Creative Costuming! This is were the costumes for many of the parks cast members are deigned and made. We witnessed cast members sewing some of the many costumes for new attractions as well as costumes that have been preserved from retired rides and parades. Anyone remember SpectroMagic?   After Creative Costuming our next stop was Textile

Walt Disney World’s Food and Wine Festival is a fall event that turns Epcot into a foodie’s dream. If you can getaway for an adults only long weekend trip I highly recommend it!   With numerous food options available in both World Showcase and Future World be sure to pick up your festival passport so you can check out all the offerings! With culinary showcases and event specific merchandise located in the Festival Center, Epcot becomes the place to spend your time.
Many times as agents we get asked about the best age to take a child to Disney. As a mom of a toddler I have had the joy of experiencing Walt Disney World with him many times. The two-three year age is one of my favorite times. The joy in his face when meeting characters or riding his favorite attraction makes each and every day a new experience. On our last trip we rode “the Buzz ride” at least 5 times. Toy Story Mania was his favorite attraction. The cast members also made it so special because they began to recognize us as we entered the line. They would speak to my son, ask him if he was excited to ride again, and ask his favorite part.   When asked what age is them best time to visit Walt Disney World I always say now! You can never recapture the wonder of the toddler years! Many will say to wait because your toddler will not remember the tip, but you will!
If you’re like me, you’re used to walking pretty fast through Magic Kingdom on the way to your next ride {or food!}. Next time you’re walking through Cinderella's Castle, slow down and take a look around you.  These beautiful murals are there for you to enjoy.  If you look closely, you might find a hidden Mickey or two.  ;)
We highly recommend experiencing an After Hours Event the next time you are visiting the Mouse!! After Hours is currently available on select dates at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.  This is a separate ticketed event that allow you time at a theme park when there are a very limited number of guests there.  We attended the After Hours event at Hollywood Studios.  If you’re already in the park at the start of the event, you simply go to the distribution spot in the park to get your wristband for the event - in this case it was at the ticket office at the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards.  If you’re coming into the park, you’ll go to a special turnstile where they’ll scan your Magic Band and give you your wristband. Once you’re in the park, you can enjoy unlimited Mickey Bars and Ice Cream Sandwiches, popcorn, sodas and bottle waters.  If you’re wanting something more substantial that’s available for purchase as well.  There were so many charact
