Disney Haters! Everyone has one! Do you have Disney haters in your family preventing you from taking the vacation of your dreams?    I  do!   It can be a hard sell, but trust me there are lots of options at Walt Disney World where Mickey is hard to find.   A recent trip to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort proved this to be true.   From camp grounds to cabins, horses to canoe trips, this destination serves up very little Mickey with lots of service that only Disney can provide.   While my fab four spent a day at the Magic Kingdom, the rest of the haters opted to stay around the resort to take in the many amenities the facility had to offer.   At the end of the night we met up for a fireworks cruise that pulled us right up to the Magic Kingdom where we enjoyed the fireworks together and away from the crowds.   The possibilities are endless for those looking to avoid the long lines and crowds.   The perfect itinerary is in your future...

Who doesn’t love a great breakfast?? There are many breakfast options available at Disney World, but few like the breakfast at The Garden Grill. I was recently able to have enjoy this breakfast and it is truly now my favorite! The Garden Grill is character dining like many other Disney restaurants. But unlike most character dining spots, it is one of the few that has Mickey Mouse! It is a great place to get pictures with Mickey and his autograph without having to stand in a long character greet line. Also, unlike any other Disney restaurants, The Garden Grill is the only one that rotates as you eat. It is slow-moving, but rotates above scenes from the Living with the Land ride below. You will generally make one revolution during your meal. Most other Disney breakfasts are buffets, but the breakfast at The Garden Grill is served “family style.” If you are new to “family style” dining, you will love it! They bring to your table an assortment of ...
BIG NEWS for thrill ride enthusiasts! Construction is set to begin soon to bring Shanghai Disney’s most popular ride TRON to Walt Disney World in Orlando! TRON Lightcycle Power Run, based on the 80’s hit movie and the most recent remake in 2010, will take riders on dips turns and speeds sure to satisfy and thrill seeker.  While the exact location of the ride hasn’t been released, Disney has stated it will be in the area of Tomorrowland Speedway. Some believe, that Disney will in fact retire Tomorrowland Speedway, which was one of the original rides when Walt Disney World opened in 1971. As far as timeline as to when riders can expect to venture on this thrill seeker’s dream. Disney hasn’t officially stated but they did say it will be ready before the 50th anniversary in 2021. Can’t wait!  xoxo,  Your Memory Maker Jennifer
Did you know? Universal Studios Orlando Edition! All NEW at Universal Studios Orlando!!! Character dining on Superhero Island at Cafe 4. This buffet style character meal that features, fresh salads, as well as roasted rosemary lemon chicken, shrimp scampi and chicken scallopini. Among other things included is of course every child’s dream food PIZZA, as well as some pasta dishes for adults with dessert included.  The dinner includes visits from Captain America, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, and Rogue. Similar to my favorite Disney dining experience Cafe Mickey, each character will visit a guest’s table to sign autographs and take photos, including one digital photo from My Universal Photos included with the dinner.  xoxo,  Your Memory Maker Jennifer
Saving You Money If you have thoughts of going out of the country later this year or anytime in the next few years, I would strongly recommend for you to get your passport now. Beginning this spring, the cost of obtaining a passport will increase. The Department of State announced that starting April 2 nd , an adult passport book will go from $135 to $145, while a child passport (16 years old and younger) will now be $115, up from $105. This increase does not apply to people renewing their passports through the mail. Meanwhile, passport cards for travel to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean will now cost $65 for adults and $50 for children. XOXO Your Memory Maker Shamron Wilder
