Oh, this looks like so much fun!!!!!

If you are anything like myself, packing for a long vacation can really make your head hurt. Packing for a magical vacation, can send you right over the edge!!!! I have found some things that really help me when I travel to Disney, and packing tips I will pass along to you. I begin this mind boggling process by gathering various sizes of zip lock bags. I used to use the Wal Mart brand, however they really do not work well since the packaging changed. I would rather pay just a little more and know that my shampoo and other runny products will not get all over my clothing. I am way to OCD for my own good!!! My husband tells me all the time, but I just can't help it! My brain needs to see things written out, or I just can't comprehend something. So, I write things out. I make a list of the days we will be away, add the weather, write out what Miss R will wear, and I begin rounding up my packing items. ( You are getting a look inside my brain. Scary, right!!!) Why am I so excited about meeting a Mayor? Well, you see, he is not just any old Mayor. He is the Mayor of the Magic Kingdom. That's right!!! Magic Kingdom, Main Street to be exact!! I have always wanted to meet him. I know it sounds kind of crazy, but I have. Finally, after all these years..... I meet him and have my picture made. He is what he looks like. Warm, fuzzy, can't wait to shake you hand and give you a hug. If you want to meet him, make sure to hang around Main Street in the morning to noon time. He will walk around, shake hands, kiss babies, and take pictures. Just like any other politician. Except..... he is really magical!!!!  

I recently stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani Village. I really enjoyed my time here! We stayed in a Studio. I liked the space the studio offered. However, I wish more storage would have been available. I requested to be close to the elevator because it  is a very large resort. I recommend calling ahead (I always do this for my clients) and requesting a room close to the elevator. If not, you will walk a very long way to your room after a very long day in the parks. We enjoyed how quiet this resort was. I like to leave the craziness of the parks behind at night. I felt like I could escape when I stayed here. You know you are still at Disney because of how wonderfully clean everything stays and the beautiful theme. No where on this earth can make you believe you are in the middle of Africa when you are in Florida, except for Disney.  This couch folds out into a bed.  A very spacious vanity in the bathroom. Last, but certainly not least, is the conclusion of my time at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I saved the best for last because it is my favorite!! HALLOWISHES... the spooktacular firework show that only takes place on party nights. All 999 Grim Grinning Ghosts  came out to socialize!  My hidden Mickey. Can you see it? 

I tried to post a few nights ago and this site was having a hard time uploading pictures. So take 3.... Boo to you!   All the characters came in their Halloween Costumes!   Arrrrrrrrr!!!  As the crock came by you could here a loud TICK TOCK!  It's Captain Jack Sparrow. Can you guess where this dog and its owner are from? The Haunted Mansion of course!!!  If you have little one's that are showing signs of fear, the parade characters will stay away. No tears in the Magic Kingdom!!   Our rootin tootin Wild Wild West friends!   What would be a BOO TO YOU parade without Villains! Again, they will stay away if signs of distress!   The best part of the parade.....the end!! Why? because lots of candy!! Cast Members are walking with the parade handing out yummy, yummy candy!!
