A few of my favortie Disney things....Part 3

I have to say, autograph books are a must!!! Every child that goes to Disney must have an autograph book. I still have my first autograph book. It is almost like a "right of passage". This will be my daughter's first autograph experience. We waited until this trip for several. First, she was so young! At 13 months she had no idea what an autograph was. Second, the stuff you have to keep up with is almost unimaginable, when you have a baby at Disney. Third, I want her to experience a whole new Disney every time we go.

What is so special about an autograph? So much!!! This experience is so neat. It is one on one time with a character. It is a special memory captured on paper to your child. Plus,  to sea a child's face when they hand their book to a character, is priceless!!! That reason alone is worth the year saving for a Disney vacation.

Now, you can purchase these on Disneyshopping.com. It is great to have a book picked out before you hit the parks. Sometimes it is hard for a child to make such a big decision on an already overwhelming experience. The walk through Magic Kingdom turnstiles can send any child over the edge. To make the day as smooth as possible I do recommend purchasing before you arrive.

As you are unpacking in your resort, have a special present to your child from a favorite character. The autograph book can be of the surprise. I will have a later post about morning character surprises, that are very inexpensive.

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
