I'm Ashton and I am a Run Disney fanatic. My husband enjoys running but had never considered a race. A few months before our daughter was born we made a deal. I would "join the dark side" by watching all the Star Wars Movies if he would "join the dark side" by running a Run Disney event with me. Lucky for him I loved the Star Wars anthology so much I picked the Dark Side Weekend as his first Run Disney event, and lucky for me he loved the event so much we now plan to run at least one a year together. Now we have both officially joined the Dark Side!
Star Wars - The Dark Side weekend takes place at the Walt Disney
World Resort and is action packed with all things Star Wars. From storm
troopers to droids to Darth Vader you never know what you will find on the race
course. After the race my husband said "I didn't even realize I was tired
until we crossed the finished line and stopped running!" That is how
entertaining and just plain fun (yes you can have fun running!) these Run
Disney events are!
Bring
the whole family over to the Dark Side to make it a family event! This year our
little family is heading back to the Dark Side weekend and our 15 month old
daughter will be participating in the kids 100m dash. We can't wait to
introduce her to the Dark Side and Run Disney!
