Cruising
with Disney Cruise Line in itself is such a magical vacation. DCL offers
great service and amenities that aren’t found on other cruise lines and it’s a
great vacation option for families that can literally take you all over the
world!
If
you’re wanting the ultimate in DCL service and amenities booking a concierge
level stateroom is the way to go! Before you even step foot on the boat,
you are given priority service by the shore side concierge team. They
help you book adults only dining, nursery times, Port Adventures, spa services
and those elusive Castaway Cay Cabanas before everyone else on the ship has
access. Once you arrive at the port on your embarkation day, you’ll be
allowed to wait in a private concierge area and will be among the first people
to board the ship. Walking on to an almost empty ship is one of my
family’s favorite parts - it’s like you have it all to yourselves. =)
Once
onboard, you are greeted personally and taken to the Concierge Lounge.
Once there, you are introduced to the magical staff that will work hard to make
your cruise the absolute best ever. The Concierge Staff will get to know
your family and you’ll be BFF’s by the end of your cruise.
There
are so many perks to sailing concierge level but the lounge is our favorite! It
is almost always full of yummy food and treats. There are refrigerators full of
soft drinks, bottled water, milk and juices that are available for you at all
times. My kids loved being able to walk in and grab whatever they wanted.
For kiddos, there are always games and coloring sheets available and a big
screen TV is always showing Disney cartoons. For adults, the staff is a
wealth of knowledge on the Ports of Call and other happenings on the
ship. During the evenings there are cocktail hours with included wine and
adult beverages. There are lots of other fun surprises but I don’t want
to spoil the fun. =)
The
concierge level rooms are appointed with special touches just for concierge
guests and you even get a choice of pillow to sleep on and even special
toiletries! These staterooms are located on the upper decks forward of
each ship so the location is amazing.
We
love Disney Cruise Line and I’m thrilled every time I step on their ships but
knowing I have that concierge service waiting just makes it a little extra
magical.
