Express Transportation

Express Transportation at Walt Disney World

Introduced late last year, Express Transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort is a paid option that allows you to easily go between the four parks with an annual pass or park hopper ticket option. This fast, nonstop service picks you up and drops you off inside the main gate for greater ease and comfort. There is no need to reenter the park main gate which saves time and walking!
There are two Express Transportation tickets to choose from: a single-day for $19 or $29 for up to seven consecutive days. The four locations in each park for pick-up and drop off are as follows:
·       Magic Kingdom – near the exit of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland
·       Epcot – on the east side of Spaceship Earth
·       Hollywood Studios – the courtyard in front of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
·       Animal Kingdom – near the Dawa Bar at the entrance to Africa

The Express Transportation begins service at 10 am and runs until park closing. A sample schedule for what the departure times are at Magic Kingdom looks like this:
Animal Kingdom departs at :00 and :30, Hollywood Studios departs at :20 and :50, Epcot departs at :10 and :40.
Reviews have been very positive in regards to the amount of time that can be saved when park hopping. The program is now a permanent option for guests at the Walt Disney World Resort. Give it a try on your next vacation!

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
