Magical Extras!

One of our favorite things about a Disney vacation is the fact that you never know when you might be surprised with a little extra magic! On a recent trip to Walt Disney World we were greeted with a letter welcoming us back to one of our favorite Resorts - Port Orleans French Quarter - and with that letter was a cute puzzle themed around the Resort. It was a hit with the kids, they loved the idea of arriving at home and putting together a puzzle that would remind them specifically of this particular Disney vacation! We even had the thought that it would be really neat to have a collection of these puzzles from different Resorts framed and hanging in a playroom or common area. As you walk by the framed puzzle pictures you would be reminded of when you acquired each puzzle and the happy memories from each trip! After all, that's what going to Disney World is all about - magical memories with the people you love! Have you ever experienced any magical Disney extras? We would love to hear some other examples of how something small made a big impact!

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
If you’re looking for a yummy but healthy breakfast or lunch on Disney property, Capt. Cooks has the best avocado toast! It is covered with fresh avocado, egg, arugula, tomatoes, goat cheese, salt & pepper. Definitely a must try if you’re at the Polynesian Resort!
