Printed Memories

I love to take pictures when I vacation. Capturing pictures of the food, the location(s), the wildlife, and just about anything that catches my eye. In case I don’t get back there again, I want to remember everything about the trip. Typically when I get home, I will edit my pictures down to a manageable number and create an album on Facebook to share with friends. Not to rub it in that I was on vacation, but rather to allow them to share in the fun.

Pictures can provide an escape back in time, as I go through various albums and reminisce about that place. I still print my pictures. When I take my “big” trips, I hope to capture at least one photograph that is worthy of enlarging. My hallways are filled with various pictures from around the world.

I encourage you to take lots of pictures while on vacation, if you don’t already. When you have returned to reality and at times the world isn’t being so kind, those pictures will offer you a way to escape back to magical moments.
Happy picture taking!

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
If you’re looking for a yummy but healthy breakfast or lunch on Disney property, Capt. Cooks has the best avocado toast! It is covered with fresh avocado, egg, arugula, tomatoes, goat cheese, salt & pepper. Definitely a must try if you’re at the Polynesian Resort!
