Symphony of the Seas

Royal Caribbean’s newest ship is also the largest cruise ship by volume. Let’s look at the numbers:
1,188 feet long
22 restaurants
24 pools
2,759 cabins
6,680 guests, approximately
2,200-some crew members
18 decks
24 elevators
7 neighborhoods
10-story serpentine slide

For entertainment, you can watch the unbelievable acrobatics and high dives at the AquaTheatre. Maybe you’d prefer to see a freshened rendition of “Hairspray” in the Royal Theatre.

Royal Caribbean has left no stone untouched in the detail department. They have the “Ultimate Family Suite.” These two-level suites are dressed in bold colors and include some unique amenities. How about a slide in the room? Done. What about a private cinema? Done. Maybe a ping pong table and a LEGO wall? You got it. Now that the kids are entertained, let’s see what is in store for the parents. I think the private balcony and whirlpool will fit the bill.

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
If you’re looking for a yummy but healthy breakfast or lunch on Disney property, Capt. Cooks has the best avocado toast! It is covered with fresh avocado, egg, arugula, tomatoes, goat cheese, salt & pepper. Definitely a must try if you’re at the Polynesian Resort!
