Frequently Asked Questions About Us

Many people ask, “When I use you to plan my vacation, what is it that you actually do?”
Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions to give you the insight you need to decide whether our services are for you.

1) Are your services REALLY free?
*Yes they sure are! Disney and other vacation vendors compensate me for my time to assist you in planning ensuring we secure the ideal Disney experience for you and your family! You will not pay more by going with me and quite often you will even pay less. Even if you receive an offer code after booking with us we will do the utmost to honor it and get you the discount!

2)What are the benefits of using you instead of just booking on my own?
As a Disney Certified Specialist we will provide you with...
*The convenience of the trip being booked, planned, and delivered to your mailbox at no extra cost
*A person to bounce questions of off before your trip and even while you are there
*Emergency assistance if a travel emergency should occur and I can call to solve any issues on your behalf.
*Access to the information we have compiled from a panel of Disney Specialists like restaurant suggestions, where to spot hard to find characters, and ride requirements
*Information about specialty events and experiences that only the most informed Disney planners know i.e. Firework Dessert Party, new up coming attractions, and holiday cruise dates

3)Can you book a whole package for me?
*Yes, we can book the whole vacation for you and this is usually the most cost effective way of doing it! We can book theme park tickets for each day, including water parks and hopper passes if needed.  We can also book so that your dining is included. The dining we recommend includes one Table Service (sit down meal), 1 quick service (counter order), and 2 snacks per day per person based on the number of nights you are staying.  There are additional packages as well that can be discussed.

4) How soon should I book?
*The sooner you book, the better! You can start booking reservations for dining/experiences at Disney up to 180 days in advance. This means that the sooner we have a confirmation number for your trip the sooner we can start making those reservations for you. Remember, it is better to book and cancel dining than to try and add it at the end. You need a credit card to hold reservations but nothing will be charged until you are there and most places allow cancellations up to 24 hours  before the reservation.

5)Can you book me flights?
*Yes we can book you coordinating flights! We can add them on to your Disney package or even do them at a separate time for you. According to the airlines, flights must be paid in full at the time of booking. We cannot help with flights if you will be using points or frequent flyer miles as that is airline policy.

6)Can you provide me transfers to & from the airport?
*We can set you up on the Magical Express, which is Disney’s transportation system to and from the airport at no extra charge. If you prefer we can also set you up with a rental car to use during your stay!

7) How do I pick the right hotel?
*There are many levels of hotels at Disney! There are wonderful properties at each level. It all depends on what you are looking for on YOUR vacation. If you want ultimate luxury or you are looking for something different, as opposed to the people looking for character themed hotels. Just let us know what you have in mind. We can run numbers and find something that will fit your family needs as well as your budget. We can compare properties until you find your magical vacation!

8) Can you help me with reservations & meal planning?
*Once we have selected your meal plan and confirmed your reservation we will send you a suggestions email with all of the restaurants at Disney. It will give you recommendations of what is available and what we think is worth seeing. You can then let me know what you are interested in and I can start making the appropriate reservations for you. Some people like to plan out every meal and others like to only plan a few and be flexible. It is a personal choice. Just know that certain experiences book up very fast.

*We can also book specialty experiences for you and recommend what would work best for children in your party.  Some highlights are Fireworks Dessert Themed Parties, Pirates League Dress Up, and Bibbity Bobbity Boutique.

9)How much of a deposit do I need right now to book?
*Disney requires a $200 deposit to confirm your reservation unless you are within 45 days of your trip in which case you will have to pay the trip in full! Your flight cost will be added to your deposit amount if you choose to add them to your package

10) Do you just book Disney?

*NO, we can help with any type of vacation! We have traveled both domestically and internationally. We love All Inclusive vacations, trips to Las Vegas, and cruises just to name a few. Ask us about any destination and we will plan something awesome!

XOXO,
Your Memory Maker, Tara

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
If you’re looking for a yummy but healthy breakfast or lunch on Disney property, Capt. Cooks has the best avocado toast! It is covered with fresh avocado, egg, arugula, tomatoes, goat cheese, salt & pepper. Definitely a must try if you’re at the Polynesian Resort!
