The Zip Memory Makers recently took a trip to Universal Orlando and we were fortunate enough to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. This was a first for most of us and we were not disappointed! From the moment you walk in the doors you have the feeling that you're a VIP. The decor is obviously centered around music but in a tasteful way. There is a lot of attention to detail. In the rooms, for example, there's a mirror on the wall with height marks of famous musicians for you to compare your height to theirs. Speaking of the rooms, the beds are very comfortable, some of the best hotel pillows we've ever encountered! Another plus - there's plenty of space in the rooms!!

is very family-friendly. No reservations are required, it's a
casual dining spot with wonderful food! The BeachClub is a great spot for picking-up small plates & delicious drinks all while sitting in the shade with views of the pool!
There are two major bonuses to staying at the Hard Rock Hotel. First, is the location. If you walk out of the hotel & toward CityWalk you'll be at the front gate to Universal Studios in five minutes! It's a very easy walk & there's beautiful scenery & landscaping along the way.
The second major advantage of staying at the Hard Rock Hotel is the Unlimited Express Pass. This is tied to your hotel stay, not your park tickets, & it means that you don't wait in lines while you're in the parks (with the exception of Escape from Gringotts at Universal and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Islands of Adventure). With this express pass you are guaranteed to ride everything that you want to ride while you're in the parks, some of them multiple times if you'd like!
