Magic Kingdom firework viewing!  One of the highlights of any trip to Disney World is the nightly fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom - Cinderella castle is alive with lights and projections, fireworks light-up the night sky and coordinate with familiar Disney tunes and the crowd is left in awe! It's truly one of the most magical and memorable moments for a lot of families! That being said, it can be tough to know exactly where to stake out your spot and frustrations can run high if you're trying to figure out where to go among the sea of people. Here is one of our very favorite spots on Main Street U.S.A.... If you're standing in front of Casey's Corner (on the left if you're looking at the castle) you'll notice a fenced-off garden viewing area. If you look directly in front of the garden area you'll see a sidewalk that's lined with concrete benches. This is the spot you want to shoot for! It's a perfect distance from the castle, you can ...
A Taste of Disney             Do you come home craving those unforgettable meals you devoured while you were in the happiest place on Earth?   Have you ever wondered if those copycat recipes will hit the mark? Well, I did the legwork for you and tried the copycat recipe for banana foster bread pudding from Ohana at the Polynesian Village Resort. It was a huge sacrifice, so you’re welcome!   ;)             Honestly, this recipe was pretty spot on! It was fairly simple without too much mess! The only thing that would make it better would be eating it at Ohana! Check back later for more taste from Disney! Pinterest Pin: https://pin.it/o2SFlQN

One of the best things about cruising with Disney is the food!! Not only do you get to know your wait staff who stays with you every dinner of your cruise, but you can order as much as you want for each meal. I’m a big fan of appetizers so I always order at least two - I’m on vacation, right? My husband has a sweet tooth so he always gets a couple deserts. And my teenage son, he orders from the kids menu and the adult menu. Eating on Disney Cruise Line is completely customizable and one of our favorite things about cruising!

Memories I remember our family vacations with great fondness. It took a lot of work on my parent’s behalf for those to be possible, and I realize that now as an adult. As a kid, I treasured those getaways. Now grown, I hold those memories close to my heart. We typically went to the beach. There were trips to other places like New York, Washington, D.C., etc., as well. My parents gave me a treasure trove of memories, and I’m extremely grateful for each one. I don’t know how they survived those long car rides with my endless questions of, “Are we there yet?” and “How much longer?”   Things will be pushed to the side, damaged or not even wanted. Those little ones and not so little ones will soon be grown and out on their own. The sacrifice is worth it. You can’t get this time back. Create memories to your family. They will be with your loved ones much longer. Shamron Wilder Memory Maker
