Magic Kingdom firework viewing!

One of the highlights of any trip to Disney World is the nightly fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom - Cinderella castle is alive with lights and projections, fireworks light-up the night sky and coordinate with familiar Disney tunes and the crowd is left in awe! It's truly one of the most magical and memorable moments for a lot of families! That being said, it can be tough to know exactly where to stake out your spot and frustrations can run high if you're trying to figure out where to go among the sea of people. Here is one of our very favorite spots on Main Street U.S.A....

If you're standing in front of Casey's Corner (on the left if you're looking at the castle) you'll notice a fenced-off garden viewing area. If you look directly in front of the garden area you'll see a sidewalk that's lined with concrete benches. This is the spot you want to shoot for! It's a perfect distance from the castle, you can see all of the projections but you're not too far away, either. There's also a break in the crowd directly in front of you which means that there's no danger of people standing and blocking your view! All in all we say this is one of the best spots to see the show! Below is a recent photo that was taken from this exact spot!

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
If you’re looking for a yummy but healthy breakfast or lunch on Disney property, Capt. Cooks has the best avocado toast! It is covered with fresh avocado, egg, arugula, tomatoes, goat cheese, salt & pepper. Definitely a must try if you’re at the Polynesian Resort!
