Categorized as Disney’s smallest resort property, French Quarter falls  in the moderate resort category. It’s quaint size leaves you not overwhelmed by your surroundings. The building’s architecture is inspired by buildings found in the Big Easy. The cobblestone streets are filled with the sound of jazz music. The catwalks remind you of balcony’s found in the heart of New Orleans. But it doesn’t stop at the sights and sounds of New Orleans, your taste buds will not be forgotten as you indulge in one of the resort’s wonderful beignets made to order for each guest.

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
