After an AMAZING Adventures by Disney vacation, I can say with certainty that we will be booking another soon! Here is a recap of our adventure!

Day 1:
We landed in California around 10am and were met with our very own private driver to take us to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel! Once we arrived, we met our two amazing guides, Lori & Natalia, in the lobby who gave us our lanyard, park tickets, welcome present, and they even took our bags to our room so we could hit the parks! **Did you know Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure are within walking distance of each other and the resort? This was so nice and would have been a great perk with kids! After time at the park we met our group in the lobby, we got to know each other a little and then set off to Disneyland Park for dinner and Fantasmic!

Day 2:
This was a very exciting day! We met early for breakfast at the Storytellers Café with Mickey & friends, and had a great time catching up with new friends! Then we headed to Burbank in our extremely nice tour bus to Walt Disney Studios. Here we were able to experience where Walt built this incredible company! We were taken in places the public is not allowed to go, we saw where the animators work, the Ink & Paint Ladies' workplace, the underground tunnels, Disney Archives, and had a great "shoportunity" as our guides would say, at the Studio Store!

Next, we set off for the Imagineering Studios! We met our two Imagineers outside the building and we were not allowed to take any pictures here. We were able to experience where they test rides, see sculptures of new lands, and so much more!! From here we went to the Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round for a ride on the same one that Walt spent watching his daughters, and dreaming of a place where parents and children could have fun together.
Then for dinner we were taken to Tam O'Shanter were Walt spent so much time with his team exploring new ideas! It is the oldest restaurant in L.A. The food here was so authentic and we were even able to see some of Walt's drawings on his reserved table!

Day 3: This was our big park day! We met super early at 6am in the lobby for an amazing surprise....entrance into Disneyland before it opened!!! Our guides walked us into the park before sunrise and we could take pictures, run down Main Street USA and we were the only ones!
For breakfast, we ate with our favorite characters at the Plaza Inn and had my favorite, Mickey Waffles!!
After breakfast we got to experience our favorite rides backstage!!
We were taken backstage to see how the Indiana Jones ride works, they let us drive a vehicle control, and then experienced the ride! Next, we were off to race at Radiator Springs in Cars Land, and then went to see Soarin’ from under the screen (and even touched it!).
..
We were not allowed to take pictures backstage but my favorite part was being able to tour Walt’s apartment that overlooked the park and where he spent time with his family! He loved having his grandchildren to spend the night there!
..
That night,  we had a special dessert party before heading to California Adventure for a VIP viewing of the Paint the Night Parade!! Before saying goodbye, our awesome guides gave us one last surprise. I won't ruin all of the amazing surprises that you need to experience for yourself, but I know I felt like I had extended my Disney family leaving this trip!

Adventures by Disneyhas made my magic and love for Disney even stronger! They don’t just travel to Disneyland, but all over the world!!

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
If you’re looking for a yummy but healthy breakfast or lunch on Disney property, Capt. Cooks has the best avocado toast! It is covered with fresh avocado, egg, arugula, tomatoes, goat cheese, salt & pepper. Definitely a must try if you’re at the Polynesian Resort!
