Many times as agents we get asked about the best age to take a child to Disney. As a mom of a toddler I have had the joy of experiencing Walt Disney World with him many times. The two-three year age is one of my favorite times. The joy in his face when meeting characters or riding his favorite attraction makes each and every day a new experience.

On our last trip we rode “the Buzz ride” at least 5 times. Toy Story Mania was his favorite attraction. The cast members also made it so special because they began to recognize us as we entered the line. They would speak to my son, ask him if he was excited to ride again, and ask his favorite part.

When asked what age is them best time to visit Walt Disney World I always say now! You can never recapture the wonder of the toddler years! Many will say to wait because your toddler will not remember the tip, but you will!

One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World during Christmas is to visit the deluxe resorts.  Each resort is decorated in it’s own unique way.  The Grand Floridian features a life sized gingerbread house in it’s lobby.  When you walk in, you can smell the gingerbread…yum!!  Here’s a time lapse video of how the magic happens at the Grand Floridian! https://youtu.be/Si2pcosZjbk
