The thought of cruising the high seas for the first time can be a bit overwhelming. If you have never been aboard a cruise ship, you are missing out on one of the most popular modes of vacation! Below, I have broken down a few of the perks of cruising! Zip A Dee Doo Dah Travel works with most major cruise lines including Disney Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, and even river cursing!  1. A Dozen Packing Tips For Your Walt Disney World Touring Bag

Carry a cinch-sack to the parks.  To help get through the security bag check a little faster, put all your items in two large zipper-top bags before putting them in the sack. Security will love this as it will make their job easier by being able to just look at the bags instead of digging through the cinch-sack. Water bottles Purchase water bottles in bulk at a local grocery store or grocery delivery service.   This will save you lots of money!   It will also save you time – no looking for snack carts or standing in line.   Make sure to pack in an insulated cooler or container to keep your water cold and refreshing. Sunscreen Chances are you will forget to put sunscreen on while at your resort.   Keep some in your pack so you and your family will always be protected.   Buying one at the parks is crazy expensive (I know, I’ve bought one!)   A sunburn could ruin an otherwise wonderful vacation. Quarters Make sure to tuck several dol...

New Transportation System Coming to Disney World?

There have been some strong rumors floating around that a new type of transportation system might be coming to Walt Disney World in the near future! This would be a gondola type ride system that is already in use in several major cities throughout the world. Disney already has a vast number of transportation options, some of which are very unique. The main one is the monorail system that has been in use since the opening of Magic Kingdom in 1971. It travels around the Seven Seas Lagoon and also takes guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center down to EPCOT. Water taxi transportation is also widely used around the property. They serve all of the theme parks except Animal Kingdom and are even used at Disney Springs. Bus service is utilized at all resorts, theme parks, and Disney Springs. Disney’s Magical Express is a complimentary bus service that will even transport you from the Orlando International Airport to your Disney resort and back! With the ...

Princess Run

Had you told me five years ago that I would be running for anything outside of a life or death emergency (i.e., being chased by a bear), I would have told you that is pure crazy talk.   Five years later, I am running for fun.   (Truth be told, I run so I can enjoy all the food.) I never gave much thought to a race-cation until I ran my first RunDisney race two years ago at RunDisney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend.   I went with a group of friends to run the 5k for a long girlfriend’s weekend.   This isn’t anything new to the novice runners.   However, that weekend I was bit by the RunDisney bug.   I decided that weekend my goal was to run my first half marathon at the Princess Half Marathon weekend sometime in the future. I ran my first half marathon at the 2015 Princess Half Marathon weekend, and the rest is history.   I have fallen in love with that particular weekend, and it is one of my annual vacations now.   I have met wom...
