There are some definite perks to staying on Disney property! The deals of the Dining Plan, Extra Magic Hours, early Fast Pass selection. But one perk that should not be overlooked is the immersive atmosphere these resorts offer! Disney doesn’t leave anything out, their attention to detail is unmatchable!  Let’s explore Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter to discover why staying on Disney property is so grand!  Categorized as Disney’s smallest resort property, French Quarter falls  in the moderate resort category. It’s quaint size leaves you not overwhelmed by your surroundings. The building’s architecture is inspired by buildings found in the Big Easy. The cobblestone streets are filled with the sound of jazz music. The catwalks remind you of balcony’s found in the heart of New Orleans. But it doesn’t stop at the sights and sounds of New Orleans, your taste buds will not be forgotten as you indulge in one of the resort’s wonderful beignets made to order for each gue...
Disneyland’s Max Pass What is the Max Pass?   It is a new optional digital tool, only available to use at Disneyland, allows you to book fast passes and receive unlimited photo pass pictures for that day through the mobile Disneyland App.   The cost is $10 per person per day or $75 per person per year for someone with an annual pass or free if you are a Signature Plus pass holder and will expire when their annual pass expires.   It cannot be purchased until you have entered one of the theme parks for the day.   Guests who have tried absolutely love it!   It prevents you from having to run to each ride to get a printed fast pass ticket when you enter the park.     All you do is purchase the max pass in the app and scan the back of your ticket and it will be added to your app for the day.   It not only includes fast pass reservations, it also includes unlimited photo pass downloads for that day.   This includes magic shots, attracti...
Stitch’s Great Escape to close forever…                      A final closing date has finally been set for Stitch’s Great Escape at the Magic Kingdom.   January 6, 2018 will be the last day of operation for this much maligned Tomorrowland attraction. Stitch’s Great Escape replaced the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter in 2004 and has never been a very well received attraction. Stitch’s Great Escape has been operating seasonally since October 2, 2016. There is no word on what attraction will replace Stitch’s but rumors over the last few years have pointed to a Wreck-It-Ralph attraction. With the 50 th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort coming up in 2021, it may be a few years until we see something new in this space. Several new Magic Kingdom attractions are scheduled to open by then and the same should be true of this space!
Recently I went down to Walt Disney World to stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and see what's going on with construction! Several people have asked me if they should stay there or not but I'm excited to tell you that they have done a good job with hiding construction sites! You mostly see the walls up but the pools are still the same, they brought in food trucks while we were there so you could have several food options, and everything else still operated the same! If you have been wanting to plan a vacation here, I would say go for it! We were even able to stay in a remodeled room! Contact your memory maker today to start planning your Disney World vacation!
